Dr. James Eyul (RIP)
Aviation Medical Examiner | Public Health Specialist | Golf Patron
The late Dr. Eyul served with distinction as an Aviation Medical Examiner under the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Uganda. A highly regarded expert in aviation medicine and public health, he played a pivotal role at Entebbe International Airport, ensuring the health and safety of aircrew, passengers, and airport personnel.
He was also the founder and proprietor of Kazuri Medical, a clinic located within the airport premises that offered critical port health services to support Uganda’s aviation sector. Beyond his medical contributions, Dr. Eyul was a passionate supporter of golf. During his term as Captain of Lira Sports and Golf Club, he spearheaded significant developments—investing substantial personal resources into upgrading club infrastructure, improving the golf course, and sponsoring local artisans. His commitment to the growth of the game left a lasting impact.
Dr. Eyul’s legacy lives on—both in Uganda’s aviation health sector and in the fairways of Lira. His contribution to the game of golf will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.
